Seagrove Real Estate and Community Guide
Seagrove is a community that locals love because of the laid back luxury. There is something here for everyone from the coastal dunes lakes and sugar-white sand to the upscale dining and casual boutiques. It also is one of the communities that has the strongest ties to the past. Seagrove is home to one of the areas oldest businesses, The Seagrove Village Market has been around since 1949 and still serves up some of the same classic recipes. Seagrove is just a short trip to Watercolor and Seaside but really has everything you could ever need. Local restaurants and shops are plentiful, and you can spend time here and never have to leave. In fact, of all the communities on 30A, Seagrove has 20 beach access points along the 2 mile stretch of the neighborhood, which makes finding a place to lay back and relax in the sand an easy venture.

Things to do in Seagrove
Seagrove Village Market has been serving deep-fried love since 1949 and serves almost like a time capsule for the community of Seagrove. Generations have been visiting the market for a grouper sandwich, or a shrimp Po boy still made with the same recipes they used since the beginning. The Village Market became a hub of sorts for the goings-on around town. Kids would gather and hang around the gas pumps and out front was the only phone in town for a while. The Market became a pillar of the community. There was a cigar box that people would leave keys to their homes. If someone were visiting and needed to get into a friend’s home or even if a vendor needed to make some repairs, they would stop by the market and pick up the key. While the original market was updated entirely a few years ago, no visit Seagrove is complete without some time and the Seagrove Village Market.
Coastal Dune Lakes Seagrove is home to two of the area’s fifteen coastal dune lakes that exist only in a handful of places around the globe, including New Zealand and Australia. These lakes share a connection with the gulf but are not always saltwater bodies. They fill with runoff and swelling groundwater, but as they overfill their banks, they mix with the gulf, which makes each lake a unique body for wildlife and vegetation. Eastern Lake is the most developed lake with private homes and condos along the shores. Old Florida Fish House offers lakeside dining. There is a public boat ramp at the county park on Lakewood Drive and a county beach access at the outfall on South Gulf Drive & Eastern Lake Road.
Seagrove Restaurants and Shopping
If you feel like staying close to home, Seagrove has an array of local dining and shopping options. If you’re up for a short bike ride, you can enjoy all the Seaside and Watercolor has to offer. Breakfast & Brunch: Praise the Lard, Perfect Pig is a Seagrove staple. The quiche is divine, but the Parmesean Crusted Breakfast Sandwich is the ultimate morning indulgence. Stop by Cowgirl Kitchen for “Grumpy Hour” between 7:30-9:30. If you are in a hurry, pop into Kahve & Cream for an iced coffee and one of Charlie’s donuts. Lunch: Need to feed a crowd? Angelina’s serves up pizza, sandwiches, and pasta, the whole family will enjoy. Or if everyone is craving something different, Airstream Row has a variety of options. I HIGHLY recommend Gyro Hero. Evening Cocktails & Supper: Watching the sunset with a specialty cocktail on the balcony of FOOW is nothing short of delightful. Need a little date night? Cafe 30A epitomizes the laid back luxury of Seagrove. The only thing better than the food is the service.
Are you ready to shop? If you are out on your morning walk, stop in and explore Clay Gardens, Gifts & Blessings. A nursery, in the heart of Seagrove, they claim to “know all the dirt.” Brouse the outdoor selection of clothing, accessories, and shoes curated with Cabana living in mind. Magpie’s is one of my favorite little “gems” in Seagrove. They carry beach-chic accessories and clothing. And my all-time favorite store on all of 30A is The Art of Simple. Owned by two of the most creative and cool locals, you’ll spend hours perusing their IG worthy store.
