The Clubs by JOE announced in 2018 that it has been working on a plan to invest $40 million in the proposed development of the Lifestyle Village at Camp Creek.
“Our interest in planning these new offerings at Camp Creek is to provide our members with a modern world-class facility that they and their guests will enjoy for many years to come,” says Patrick Murphy, Senior Vice President of Operations at St. Joe Company. “The goal is to open them as soon as they are completed so that Members and guests have minimal disruption and are able to enjoy these new amenities as soon as possible. Adding these new improvements in phases also provides the flexibility to make changes in the plan to meet Member and market demands.”
The expansion plan for the Lifestyle Village at Camp Creek offers something for everyone including:
- Two-story 12,000 sq. ft. wellness & fitness center with fitness focused on group classes, cardio and weight training and wellness focused on renewing the Members mind and body with steam room, saunas, etc.
- Outdoor adult-only lap pool, heated and cooled, with private cabanas outside the wellness & fitness center.
- Tennis complex with 9 tennis courts with on-site tennis pro-shop and stadium court for tennis tournaments.
- Sports complex to include pickle ball courts, bocce ball, lawns for group fitness and more.
- 7,000 sq. ft. free-form, lifestyle pool featuring a 250-ft. lazy river and tower waterslide.
- Children’s playground and splash pad water feature.
- Teen arcade center with activities focused for pre-teens and teens.
- Multiple casual dining restaurants and a private dining area for groups.
- On-site 75-room boutique Inn.
- New men’s and women’s well-equipped locker rooms and Golf Pro Shop
- Golf learning center with state-of-the-art golf-specific technology, practical application, specialized club and equipment fittings as well as pairing on-course instruction with a Professional.
