Rosemary Beach Real Estate and Community Guide
The community of Rosemary Beach is designed around a Town Center which is the heart of the town. The Town Center has bars, restaurants, shops and even a weekly farmer’s market. It is a great place to pick up what you need for a get together at your house or to meet up with friends for a sunset dinner. This new urbanist design means that everything in town is about a 5-minute walk from the center of town. It’s a throwback to a different time when communities were more than just a place to live but rather a place to live together. When you take advantage of the pedestrian paths and boardwalks that connect the whole town you will notice a certain European feel. Most homes have balconies and large front porches which means with every stroll in this tight-knit community you can make new friends and meet new neighbors. There are four pools in town as well as a 2.3-mile fitness trail that features staggered workout equipment to mix things up on your walks. And of course, with 9 dune walkovers, the beautiful Gulf of Mexico is always nearby.
Rosemary Beach is a master-planned community that fits the style of new urbanism. Designed by Andres Duany and Liz Plater-Zyberk, the streets and paths of Rosemary reach back to when cities sprang up around a boardwalk and everyone would work and play together instead of in backyards behind fences. This design makes the community very walkable and comforting. The arrangement of the homes gives a picturesque feel. There are no golf carts allowed in Rosemary, things move a little slower and you begin to notice the flowers and birds a little more. This mix of proximity and pace binds the people of Rosemary Beach together as few other communities do, neighbors become friends, and friends become family.

Rosemary Restaurants and Shopping
There are plenty of dining options in Rosemary Town Center, but I want to highlight my personal favorites. Breakfast & Brunch: Big Bad Breakfast is right around the corner, but worth the short walk or bike ride. The avocado toast and bruleed grapefruit are my favorite. The Cathead chicken biscuit is worth every calorie. If you are in a hurry, pop into Amavida for a late´ and scratch-made scone. Lunch: I love a good chicken salad sandwich. Stop into Cowgirl Kitchen and grab one on the way to the beach. Can’t decide on something sweet or savory? Creative Crepes has you covered either way. Evening Cocktails & Supper: Watching the sunset with a craft cocktail on the balcony at Pescado is nothing short of delightful. If you are looking for a place to trade in your flip flops for heels, Restaurant Paradis is my favorite date night. Grab your friends and enjoy an endless selection of tapas and tasty treats at La Crema.
